Who can we treat?

You DO NOT need to see a doctor, or get a doctors referral to be treated as a private patient. Physiotherapy is not bulk billed, so if you do get a doctors referral, it still means you are private. Just call reception and book in and you will be seen as a private patient. We are covered for all health funds, so they will reimburse you for whatever you are owed. Bring any information you have such as scans, reports, recommendations or doctor referrals you may have.
Certain patients are allowed to have 5 subsidized Physiotherapy sessions provided by Medicare. To access these subsidized sessions, you must see your doctor and only your doctor can decide whether you are allowed to get it or not. If your doctor feels your are eligible they will give you a special referral paper which says Enhanced Primary Care and says 5 sessions of physiotherapy. Bring this referral in on your first session, otherwise you will be seen and treated as a private patient.

If you have injured yourself at work and have an active Workcover claim number, we are able to treat you and help you get better. We understand that Workcover patients require specific needs, so we want to make the experience a postive one for you and do our best to get you back on track and back to work as soon as we can. We understand that being out of work due to injury can add unnecessary stresses to your life simply by just not being at work, or due to dealing with unco-operative insurance companies.

That is why we want to help ease your burden, so let us co-ordinate and communicate with all parties involved including insurance companies, employers, return to work co-ordinators, case managers, gyms, solicitors, doctors or surgeons.

Regardless of what injury you have, we are committed to improving your health and overall quality of life, by getting you back to a functional capacity as soon as possible.

So contact us now, and let us help you get better and back to work!

NOTE: Remember to ALWAYS report ANY kind of work injury as soon as it happens! This will make it easier for your claims to be accepted easier and sooner.
